That goes out to Brian Okin and Chef Jill Veda of Rockefeller's who organized the Dinner in the Dark on Jan. 20th. Over 70 people had a wonderful meal with each course prepared by a surprise chef, all of who happened to be women. The evening should net between $2,000 - $3,000 for Shaking With Laughter and will be earmarked for InMotion an exciting new facility to open in 2014 in Cleveland, dedicated to the well-being of people with movement disorders. You can read all about the evening and the participating chefs on our Past Events page.
Keep an eye out for more info on our 2014 events which include:
May 30th - Prelude to a Cure - a chamber music concert at beautifully renovated St. Paul's in Cleveland Heights featuring members of the Cleveland Orchestra. More details and tickets available some time in early March.
Sept. 27th - Our annual gala event moves to the Palace Theater because we have a comedian who will bring such big laughs that the Ohio Theater wasn't large enough to hold them. More details to come in May.
